On Thursday, May 23, 2023, between 14:00-17:00 with the participation of 5 different company managers, we held BUMED ACADEMY Finding Customers from the Exhibitions in Zoom environment.
Managers of different companies from the veterinary, cosmetics, hardware, e-mail marketing and fair organization sectors participated in BUMED ACADEMY Finding Customers from the Exhibitions In the training given by our trainer Mehmet Dükkancı, who is also a graduate of Boğaziçi University, topics such as how to prepare before the fair, how to work during the days of the fair and after the fair were discussed in order to make quality business meetings with 256 visitors and to find prospective customers among them to place orders, sell and export.
How Many Customers Are We Willing to Host at Our Fair Stand?
We started the “BUMED ACADEMY Finding Customers from the Exhibitions” with the basic question:
With a budget of €40,000, how many people are we willing to host at our stand in a 20 m2 area? Two of them, like the old-timers say? The 20 recommended by international research? Do these figures seem low to you too? Are we willing to spend €20,000 or €2,000 per person for the visitors you will welcome at the booth?
Is it possible to accommodate 256 quality visitors?
Is it possible not to collect 256 business cards, but to make 256 valuable business meetings at the fair?
Is it possible to take orders at the fair?
Is it possible to make sales and sign contracts at the fair?
How to Find Customers at the Fair?
Our Trainer Mehmet Dükkancı In the beginin of the training Mehmet Dükkancı told the exhibitors that it is essential to set concrete goals. Then he mentioned that in order to find potential customers from exhibiting, the exhibitors has to be carefull with the team, the budget, the stand, pre-show marketing, hosting correctly the visitors, and post show follow up.
Didn’t find any customers at the last fair you attended?
Didn’t you find any customers at the last fair you attended? You didn’t get an order? Couldn’t you sell, export? Out of the hundreds of business cards you collected at the fair, couldn’t you find a customer who placed an order after the fair?
